At La Finestra in Cucina we specialize in the preparation of meat coming from organic farms in Italy, Spain and the USA.

The main attraction of the restaurant is the opportunity to watch Chef Tomáš Černý, who prepares your chosen meal in the kitchen at the heart of the restaurant.

Aside from great food, La Finestra wants to build the largest wine cellar of quality Italian wines in the Czech Republic.

Weekly Menu

In the restaurant La Finestra we have Lunch Menu. Each day, guests can choose from two versions. Two courses including coffee and water for 425 CZK or three courses including coffee and water for 495 CZK. It is possible to also book a table for a working lunch and take advantage of this offer for business meetings.

Our Story

About Us

La Finestra in Cucina was opened in 2009 as the second restaurant of Chef Riccardo Lucque. La Finestra specializes in meat dishes coming from bio farms in Italy, Spain and the USA.

The restaurant has a unique wine cellar space, where you can take advantage of exclusive atmosphere and privacy in the centre of Prague.

Our Team

Chef Tomáš Černý has been working with Riccardo Lucque since 2007. Tomáš’s collaboration and friendship with successful Italian chefs such as Stefano Ciotti, Lucio Pompili, Moreno Cedroni and Riccardo Agostini has greatly influenced his professional development. Thanks to his leadership, La Finestra has been awarded first place in the category called the European cuisine in S. Pellegrino & Acqua Panna Top restaurants magazine. The magazine is a supplement of the Czech magazine EURO. Subsequently our restaurant won the survey called Mattoni restaurants 2014 and became the most popular restaurants in the country.

Bistro & Shop

In January 2012, Riccardo Lucque and Ondřej Rákosník opened a new shop & bistro, La Bottega di Finestra, which offers traditional Italian delicacies.

You can order breakfast, enjoy Gianni Frasi coffee, have a quick lunch from the daily menu, or simply buy food to take away. A wide range of wines, salamis, Parma hams and cheese encourage relaxing shopping and dining.
